The Founders
Meet the founders
My Sunny Laundry is a proud family-owned business founded by Chantal, Laurent, and their son Michael Broda. Originally from France, the Broda family brings a unique blend of European craftsmanship, design, and entrepreneurial spirit to everything they do.
Before launching My Sunny Laundry, Chantal practiced as an employment lawyer in France, and Laurent built and operated a successful retail fashion chain—Multiples—with over 120 stores across the country. Their shared passion for quality and customer experience inspired them to reinvent the laundry industry when they settled in South Florida more than 20 years ago.
Michael, who joined his parents as a co-founder, brings a strong background in real estate, operations, and finance. After earning his degree in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business, he spent over a decade in acquisitions and asset management, helping grow major real estate portfolios in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Today, he focuses on expanding My Sunny Laundry’s footprint, driving innovation, and ensuring the brand’s high standards carry through every store and community they serve.
Together, the Broda family has built My Sunny Laundry into one of the fastest-growing laundry chains in the country. With locations throughout South Florida and now in New York City and the Hamptons, they continue to modernize the laundry experience—offering customers clean, safe, and beautifully designed spaces with the latest technology and unmatched service.
